Start with a conversation.

Forty-five minutes, in person or by video, with an adviser rather than a salesperson. No cost, and no expectation that you go further.

Tell us a little, and we will do the rest

Everything here is confidential and goes only to our client team. We will come back within one business day to arrange a time, and we will tell you in advance who you will be meeting.

Before the meeting

We send a short list of what would be useful to have to hand — recent statements, any existing plan. If you would rather bring nothing, that is fine too.

In the meeting

You do most of the talking. We want to understand your balance sheet, your obligations and what the money is ultimately for.

Afterwards

A written summary of what we heard, an outline of what we would do, and an honest view on whether we can add enough value to justify our fee. Sometimes the answer is no, and we will say so.

Common questions

Before you get in touch

The six things prospective clients ask us most often.

Our discretionary and advisory mandates start at $250,000 in investable assets. Planning-only engagements are available on a fixed-fee basis with no minimum, which is often the right first step for clients whose wealth is still concentrated in a business or property.

By our clients, and only by our clients. We charge a transparent annual fee on the assets we manage, or a fixed fee for planning work. We do not accept retrocessions, trail commissions or placement fees from product providers; where a rebate is unavoidable it is credited to your account.

An independent, regulated custodian bank does — never us. We are authorised to manage and advise on your portfolio, but the assets sit in an account in your own name, and the custodian reports to you directly as well as to us.

Yes. Many clients appoint us as manager over an account they already hold. If your custodian supports third-party management, we can usually take over the mandate without moving a single asset.

We ask questions and you do most of the talking. We want to understand your balance sheet, your obligations and what the money is ultimately for. You leave with a written summary and a view on whether we can add enough value to justify our fee — sometimes the honest answer is no.

Formally, twice a year for a portfolio review and once a year for a full planning review. In practice, whenever something changes — a market event that affects your strategy, a tax change, or a decision on your side that we should factor in.
